Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Baltimore, MD)

Northwind Corner Construction is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build reports on materials orders that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of materials orders. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
