Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Vale Manufacturing and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be logistics cost analysis. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on work orders that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of work orders. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
