Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Anchorage, AK)

Summit Stone Freight Group is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on proof of delivery that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
