Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Virginia Beach, VA)

Summit Sable Manufacturing is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on inventory optimisation for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 75 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on machine downtime that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
