Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Toledo, OH)

Fernwood Manufacturing is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on inventory optimisation for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on machine downtime that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of machine downtime. • Experience with an ERP or planning system.
