Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Birch Environmental Services and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be inventory optimisation. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on service complaints that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
