Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Richmond, VA)

Ironwood Forge Freight Group is a Richmond logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on inventory optimisation. We reward reliability. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on loads and lanes that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
