Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline Meadow Water Authority and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be inventory optimisation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on pipe repairs that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
