Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (remote)

Fernwood West Freight is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on inventory optimisation for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on claims that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of claims. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
