Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (remote)

Lumen Ivory Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Birmingham. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on inventory optimisation. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on claims that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of claims. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
