Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Raleigh, NC)

Northwind Fern Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Raleigh, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our inventory optimisation. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on customer tracking that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
