Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Providence, RI)

Cedar Stone Freight Group is a Providence logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on inventory optimisation. You would join a small organisation of about 118 people based in Providence. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on customer tracking that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
