Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Oakland, CA)

Summit Nest Community Partners is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on inventory optimisation for grant reporting, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on grant reporting that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of grant reporting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
