Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (New Orleans, LA)

Northwind Vale Manufacturing is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on inventory optimisation for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on machine downtime that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of machine downtime. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
