Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Summit Glen Foods and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be inventory optimisation. You would join a large organisation of about 483 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on production batches that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
