Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Indianapolis, IN)

Fernwood Vista Water Authority is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on inventory optimisation for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 136 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on treatment plant data that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of treatment plant data. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
