Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Hartford, CT)

Silverline Forge Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Hartford, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our inventory optimisation. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on loads and lanes that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
