Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Hartford, CT)

Ironwood Birch Energy Group delivers power and gas plans across the Hartford region, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our inventory optimisation. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on outage response that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of outage response. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
