Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Columbus, OH)

Redstone Quill Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Columbus, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our inventory optimisation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on customer tracking that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
