Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Chicago, IL)

Northwind Ashton Foods is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on inventory optimisation for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on customer specifications that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer specifications. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
