Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Chicago, IL)

Lumen Loom Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Chicago area. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on inventory optimisation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on meter reading that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
