Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Chicago, IL)

Ironwood Kestrel Staffing is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on inventory optimisation for retention, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on retention that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of retention.
