Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Chicago, IL)

Northwind Ashton Foods produces packaged foods at its Chicago plant. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on inventory optimisation. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on allergen controls that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
