Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Birmingham, AL)

Redstone Nest Community Partners is a Birmingham charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our inventory optimisation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on food distribution that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of food distribution. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
