Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Birmingham, AL)

Fernwood Keystone Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Birmingham, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our inventory optimisation. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on proof of delivery that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of proof of delivery. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
