Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Birmingham, AL)

Amberfield Hollow Farms is an agricultural business based around Birmingham. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on inventory optimisation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on harvest schedules that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of harvest schedules. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
