Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Birmingham, AL)

Amberfield Timber Construction is a Birmingham contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our inventory optimisation. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Build reports on permits that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of permits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
