Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Birmingham, AL)

Harborlight Yarrow Foods Partners produces packaged foods at its Birmingham plant. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on inventory optimisation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on ingredient orders that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of ingredient orders. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
