Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Birmingham, AL)

Redstone Thistle Staffing places workers with employers around Birmingham. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on inventory optimisation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Build reports on client orders that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of client orders. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
