Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Birmingham, AL)

Cedar Meadow Pharma is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on inventory optimisation for release testing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on release testing that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of release testing. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
