Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (St. Louis, MO)

Cedar Forge Freight is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on demand planning for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on dock schedules that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
