Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (Seattle, WA)

Northwind Birch Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Seattle. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on demand planning. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on claims that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Seattle. • We reply to every applicant.
