Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (San Jose, CA)

Silverline Juniper Foods produces packaged foods at its San Jose plant, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our demand planning. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on production batches that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
