Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (San Diego, CA)

Lumen Bridge Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of San Diego, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our demand planning. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on carrier rates that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of carrier rates. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
