Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (Richmond, VA)

Fernwood Vista Manufacturing is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on demand planning for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on work orders that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of work orders. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
