Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (remote)

Summit Mill Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Baltimore with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on demand planning. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on collection routes that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
