Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (Providence, RI)

Cedar Bright Community Partners is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on demand planning for food distribution, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on food distribution that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of food distribution. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
