Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Summit Orchard Environmental Services and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be demand planning. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on weigh tickets that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
