Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (Hartford, CT)

Northwind West Environmental Services is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on demand planning for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on collection routes that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
