Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Juniper Foods Group is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on demand planning for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on cold storage that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
