Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (Des Moines, IA)

Northwind Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Des Moines. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on demand planning. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on project schedules that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of project schedules. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
