Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (Des Moines, IA)

Bluepeak Vale Community Partners Group is a nonprofit in Des Moines supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on demand planning. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build reports on client intake that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of client intake. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
