Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (Chicago, IL)

Greenridge Harbor Freight is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on demand planning for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on carrier rates that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of carrier rates. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
