Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Orchard Freight and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be demand planning. We reward reliability. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on dock schedules that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of dock schedules. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
