Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (Chicago, IL)

Cedar Beacon Manufacturing Group is a Chicago manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on demand planning. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on tooling that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of tooling. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
