Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (Buffalo, NY)

Summit Environmental Services is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on demand planning for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on fleet maintenance that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
