Software Engineer - web applications (Toledo, OH)

Cedar Cross Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Toledo, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our web applications. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about contractor visits into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
