Software Engineer - web applications (Toledo, OH)

Highbridge Stone Inspection Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about client sites into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
