Software Engineer - web applications (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Linden Health and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would join a large organisation of about 628 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about insurance authorisations into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with insurance authorisations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
