Software Engineer - web applications (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Pike Early Learning and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about classroom supplies into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with classroom supplies. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
